I may release this prototype someday, but currently I don't have the motivation to make this into a full project.
When I try to play it with Amiga Forever it becomes stuck on the loading screen, unfortunately. Is there any way to fix this issue?
The loading screen takes a while. Have you tried waiting a few minutes?
@@MDTravisYT I tried and yet, the game was stuck on this screen.
Are you running it from a floppy disk?
I'm not even sure if Wiis can read floppies. This is running off of an SD card.

It's the same arrangement as used in the GBA version. Instrumentation does differ due to the MIDI output I'm using, which certainly makes a world of difference.

Nearly 2 years after, i still remember how flabbergasted i was when i scrolled through my feed and i casually see astropede's demo being found, like, WHAT!?

I had to modify the ROM header.

Copied the header data from the retail version of Sonic 3 onto the Sonic 3 prototype. It requires a bit of knowledge on how the games work with the hardware.
Would it be possible to commission you to make a palette swap for ristar for me to use in speedruns?
Palette edits are one of the easiest things to do in MD hacking. Anything specific?

Things get gradually removed as the protos go on. First gone is the palette, then high jump, and eventually the moveset.

What's included in the SHC release is all that there will be. The lock-on capability will allow you to get more levels in the game, though!
